Bhakti Yoga

Bhakti yoga is completely based on faith and trust on some supreme power such as god or other. Bhakti yoga help in mental and emotional problems. Sanskrit word bhakti means to adore or worship god.

Bhakti yoga is a path of devotion, self-realization. It is a spiritual path or spiritual practice. Bhakti yoga is easiest way to harmonies mind body and spirit. Hata yoga need strength, flexibility. Raj yoga needs concentrated, disciplined mind. Jnana Yoga requires a keen intellect, but Bhakti Yoga require only loving and devotional heart. Any man or woman of any age can do bhakti yoga.

There is some way of bhakti yoga. Practitioner can follow any as he like/p>

  • Chintan or Smaran
  • Kirtan or Bhajan
  • Padsevan or Murtipujan
  • Dasya
  • Surrender
  • Arachan or Puja
  • Naman

Swami Sivananda writes, “Bhakti softens the heart and removes jealousy, hatred, lust, anger, egoism, pride and arrogance. It gives joy, ecstasy, bliss, peace and knowledge.
